Description

The City of Aurora is planning to construct a flood control project with water quality features. The project expands the existing detention pond in Havana Park and specifically includes: Tree Removal, Curb and Gutter Removal, Asphalt Demolition, Removal of existing Storm Sewer Pipe (15” – 48”), Abandon existing Storm Sewer Pipe (18” – 48”), Remove existing Concrete Inlet and Outlet Structures, 8000 CY of Earthwork Haul-off, Import Topsoil, Install RCP Storm Sewer (24” – 60”), Install 7 new 15’ Type R Inlets, Install 8 new MHs (6’ – 8’ dia), Install new Concrete Junction Box, Install new Concrete Inlet and Outlet Structures, Construct Micropool, Construct Forebay, Install 320 CY Type L Riprap, Install Curb and Gutter, Install 7560 SY-IN Asphalt (10.5” thick), Construct Bioswale, Install Irrigation System, Sod, Seeding, Traffic Control and other miscellaneous items.
