RFQ Construction Manager at Risk - CMAR for Juvenile Justice Center (JJC) Project

The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT QUESTIONS THURSDAY JULY 21, 2022 2:00 PM CENTRAL The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) Department of General Services (DGS) is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced Construction Managers for preconstruction and construction phase services for a new juvenile justice center project. DGS will engage this Contractor to serve as the construction manager at risk (CMAR) for the project, also referred to as the Nashville Youth Center for Empowerment (NYCE). Bonds A Payment and Performance Bond is required for a contract award exceeding $100,000. The awarded firm shall submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond as a condition precedent to a contract or purchase order. Documentation of bonds shall be in a format acceptable to Metro. CMAR shall provide and pay for separate payment and performance Bonds securing faithful performance of the Contract Documents and a payment to persons furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and services to the Project, each in an amount specified by Metro, but not to exceed the GMP. Such bonds shall be in a form satisfactory to Metro and shall be executed by a corporate surety who is authorized to do business in Tennessee and is acceptable to Metro.
