| Description | As of June 30 , 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline or award has not yet been established. The project includes the construction of an advanced oxidation process (AOP) and nitrate removal facility, as well as other miscellaneous upgrades, for the Town of Hempstead's Roosevelt Field Water District Wells 7, 11, and 12 site. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated amount of the bid. Bid documents may be viewed at the Office of the Commissioner of General Services, c/o Division of Public Works, Town Hall, Room 211, Hempstead, New York.
