Alleghany Regional Commerce Center - Site Pad Installation

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Alleghany County - Covington IDA is seeking sealed bids for Alleghany Regional Commerce Center - Site Pad Installation. The project is generally described as: Provide all materials, labor, equipment, and other incidentals necessary for the clearing and grading of site, earthwork, including potential blasting and/or rock crushing operations, erosion and sediment control measures, relocation of Timber Lane, installation of storm and sanitary sewer lines, construction of a wet pond/detention facility, and full site seeding for soil stabilization. Interested bidders are hereby advised that IDA will utilize all applicable provisions of the Virginia Procurement Act in considering and awarding the bid for this project. The IDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive bid informalities, to request rebidding, or to award a contract as it deems will best serve its interest. Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for sixty (60) days. At the end of the sixty (60) days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is cancelled.
