Construction of the Head Waters Trail Project

Project includes: * 275 Lineal Feet of 10 foot wide Aggregate Walking Trail. All proposals shall be sealed and marked for the Head Waters Trail Project and addressed to Fairfield Township Trustees, and delivered or received by mail prior to the opening date and time. Mailed bids shall be sent to 3062 Fairfield School Road Columbiana, OH 44408. The bidders may be required to give references and such other detailed information as will enable the owner to judge responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than 75 days after Authorization to Proceed. Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Columbiana County and Fairfield Township, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance Wage & Hour section, 614-644-2239. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or to increase or omit any item(s), waive any informalities or irregularities and to award to the lowest and best responsive responsible bidder.
