Repair HVAC Sanctuary Building 510

Design and construct repairs to the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) system in Bldg 510 Sanctuary and repair the communications link between existing Bldg 510 Variable Regrigerant Flow (VRF) HVAC system and existing Direct Digital Control (DDC) system. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, expertise, testing, surveying, equipment, reports, samples, warranties, and transportation necessary to complete the project according to the Statement of Work, plans, specifications, and contract documents. The effort will consist of a base bid and three options. The base bid work shall include the design of the system; installation of a new chiller, chilled water pump and piping for Air Handling Unit (AHU) 1 and the sanctuary including ancillary equipment; Recommissioning of AHU1; removal of abandoned duct heater: rebuilding AHU1 controls; and installing or replacing electrical circuits for the chiller and chilled water pump. Option 1 work shall include the replacement of AHU1 based on the price difference between recommissioning and replacing. Option 2 work shall include replacing the accordion-style partition wall with new drywall partition with wood door and two receptacles. Option 3 work requires consultation on the hydronic water treatment practices at McConnell AFB.
