Description

The first phase will be to remove and replace the existing concrete as defined by the proposed construction plans. The new concrete will be installed to meet the proposed new configuration of the asphalt and comply with the ADA requirements in the specifications defined within the plan. Concrete will be 4000 psi City mix with fiber. Colorado Springs Parks will test concrete every 25 cubic yards of concrete installed, this will include, slump, air content and compressive strength by casting cylinders. A concrete submittal will be required by an approved City concrete supplier and reviewed by the park project manager and design engineer. Below are the concrete features being replaced. 1. Curb and gutter 2. Pedestrian ramps 3. Sidewalk installation 4. Curb cuts 5. Drain pans.
