Description

Frame new fixed partition in office 1250D out of 3-5/8” 20ga. cold formed metal studs/track. New wall is approximately 14’6” long and 9’ tall. 1. 2. Demo existing wall to construct rough opening for new glass storefront door. Rough opening measurements to be provided by POC. 2. Install new door - Material, solid wood core door, stain by contractor 0.00 0.00T 3. HM frame with sidelight, Installed. lever latch (best core ready) clean up install door. 4. Any electrical or other wiring, removed by contractor. 5. Fill new wall with mineral wool insulation. 6. Install single layer of new 5/8” drywall on both sides of new wall and around new rough-opening as needed. Finish new drywall to a level-four finish in preparation for paint. 7. Prime new drywall and drywall repairs with low VOC primer. 8. Paint all 4 walls to customer choice of paint. 9. Install customer-provided cove base on new wall after walls are painted by others. 10. Remove construction-related debris/equipment from site and clean up. Relocate existing door to adjacent wall in 1250D: 1. Remove and salvage all existing door hardware as well as 3/0x7/0 left-handed wood door slab. 2. Demo existing welded-door frame and properly dispose of. 3. Frame new rough opening to accept new 3/0x7/0 16ga. metal knockdown frame. Install new metal knockdown frame and re-install salvaged door slab and door hardware. 4. Frame existing rough opening in with 20ga. metal studs and install single layer of 5/8” drywall on both sides. Finish new drywall to level-four finish in preparation for paint. 5. Prime new drywall and drywall repairs with low VOC primer. 6. Paint all walls to customer choice of paint in 1250D and front area of 1250 7. Install customer-provided cove base on new wall after walls are painted by contractor 8. Remove construction-related debris/equipment from site and clean up. Electrical & Mechanical: 1. Demolition of electrical and mechanical as needed. In 1250 and 1250D 2. Relocation of lights as needed due to new demountable partition office layout. 3. Installation of three (3) and relocation of one double gang light switches. Includes rework of existing lighting circuits as needed. 4. Provide and install four (4) each 2’ x 2’ supply registers with an 8” neck. Color to be white. 5. Provide and install three (3) each 2’ x 2’ return air grills. Color white. 6. Relocate one (1) existing air grill in Room 1250D. 7. Perform air balance and provide report upon completion of installation. 8. Provide clean-up of all debris during the completion of the above Scope-of-Work.
