Summersville Battle Run Waterline

The Contractor shall replace existing potable waterlines in the Battle Run Recreation Area at Summersville Lake in accordance with the attached Plan Drawings. The project area is located approximately one mile west of Summersville Dam and begins near the intersection of Battle Run Road and WV- 129 (Summersville Lake Road) and is shown on the Location and Vicinity Maps in the attached plan drawings. All underground waterlines shall be installed, tied-in to the existing system as shown, tested, and disinfected for a complete turn-key product. The Recreation Area will be closed during construction of this contract; therefore, no provisions to maintain existing water service in Battle Run are required. All excavation is unclassified; however, based on previous excavations in the area, solid rock excavation is expected in all areas.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks, Storm Drainage Utilities, Ponds and Reservoirs.
Division 35 -	Waterway and Marine Construction, Shoreline Protection, Waterway Construction and Equipment.
