Description

HVAC replacement at its group home located at 164 W. Handover Ave., Moorestown, NJ Delta Community Supports reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in any bid, to eliminate or reduce items or quantities, and exercise its judgement as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. Award of the contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development through the County of Morris. The Bidders attention is called to the fact that the project is receiving funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. The successful Bidder must ensure that compliance with Executive Order 11246 of September 24, 1965 entitled Equal Employment Opportunity, as amended by Executive Order 11375 of October 13, 1967. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, sex, affectional or sexual orientation. Prospective bidders must comply with all requirements in 24 CFR 5.105(a), including, but not limited to, the Fair Housing Act; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; and Section 109 of the Housing. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (section 3) and to the greatest extent possible, opportunities for training and employment shall be given to lower-income residents of the project area and that. When possible, contracts and subcontracts shall be awarded to business concerns owned by area residents Minority owned and Women owned Businesses Enterprises, and Section 3 Business are encouraged to submit bids. Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to the County of Morris. Therefore, the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon wage rates and reporting will apply. Small, Minority and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids.
