Description

Building/Equipment Cleaning all located on Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), Anniston, Alabama: contractor shall be required to clean cadmium and chromium regulated areas, buildings and / or equipment located on Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). Typical areas to be cleaned include walls, floors, ceilings and equipment surfaces in welding, demil areas where smoke and soot have deposited in the process areas; exterior or interior of process equipment such as abrasive blast machines/booths, paint booths; and associated ductwork. Paint and blast booth sumps, basements, interior/exterior of elevated ductwork will be common in these locations. Surface areas must be cleaned by wet or dry methods such as power washing, dry/wet vacuuming or wiping. Appropriate cleaning method and shielding procedures must be used to ensure that sensitive equipment is not damaged (e.g. electrical equipment). Any equipment or building damage will be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR. All residues including, but not limited to, rinsate, vacuum debris, wipes, and solvent must be captured, contained in government furnished containers and will be disposed of by the government. Any chemicals used in the performance of this contract must be approved prior to being brought on the installation by the ANAD Hazardous Materials Program Manager and the Safety Data Sheets must be kept at the jobsite while work is being performed.
