The purpose of this project is to polymer overlay 52 structures on various routes, in various counties. This project consists of removal and disposal items, earthwork, trenching and shoulder preparation, aggregate base course, achm surface course, cold milling asphalt pavement, approach gutters, maintenance of traffic, guardrail, erosion control, rumble strips, pavement marking, and misc. This proposal contains the special provision establishing contract time - working day contract in which the bidder will determine the number of working days to complete the project. The number of trainees required for this project is 2. Questions Pertaining to Projects During the Advertisement Period Should Be Addressed to the Program Management Division at Pmd@ardot.gov. the Deadline to Submit a Question Is the Wednesday Prior to the Scheduled Letting Date. a Question Submitted After the Close of Business on the Wednesday Prior to the Scheduled Letting Date May Not Receive a Response. In Order to Have a Bid Considered, Contractors Must Furnish a Proposal Guaranty Consisting of Either a Bidder's Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount Bid. in Order for a Bond to Be Acceptable to the Department, the Company Issuing the Bond Must Be Named in the Department of Treasury Listing of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies. the Underwriting Limitation of the Bonding Company Shall Be Adhered to.
