Description

A) Shall be rental units, UMU will not accept any transfer of title. B) Shall be LED luminaires powered by stored energy, batteries. C) Units shall be self-contained and programmable. D) Energy storage shall be sufficient to power the lighting from 5:30 am to 8:00 pm Monday – Friday with onboard sensors that turn the lighting off at dawn and on at dusk. E) Energy storage should be sufficient for 3 days required power based upon the schedule noted in B(d) above. F) The contractor shall physically secure the units as required. UMU assumes not liability for risk or damage. G) The approximate location of the light towers are shown on the attachments. H) This project will include (2) light towers for Parking Lot J and (6) light towers for Sarah Loguen Parking Lot. I) The Sarah Loguen Parking Lot will be illuminated based upon the attached photometric study. Foot Candle levels after placement of the light towers will be within 10% of the stated values on the photometric study. J) The Basis of Design shall be National Signal Incorporated; Sunray LTS Light Tower with (4)-160W LED luminaires. If Contractor is proposing an equivalent, the Contractor shall provide the specifications of the proposed equipment to ensure its equivalency.
