2020 Infrastructure Improvements

Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, sanitary sewer, drainage system and water main improvements within existing sewer, water and drainage systems. The project will include 250 tons of roadway pavement and 100 tons of trench pavement. The sewer work includes traffic control, test pits, indeterminate ledge, 290 LF of 8" Ø PVC and 494 LF of 18" Ø PVC sewer mains, 350 LF of 4" Ø and 6" Ø PVC building sewers, two 4-ft Ø manholes, insulation, wet well modifications, sewer abandonment and all earthwork and incidentals as required for a complete project. The Calais Avenue wet well modifications include the installation of a 6-ft Ø concrete barrel section and flat-top cover, with a new aluminum hatch cover, safety net, stainless steel lifting chains, bollards, with installation of new electrical box, conduit and replacement of floats within the pump station and replacement of guide rails and other components necessary to raise the top elevation the station above the ground surface and as required for a complete project. The water work includes traffic control, test pits, temporary water, indeterminate ledge, 535 LF 8"Ø DI water main, 125 LF 3/4" Ø Cu water service, 42 LF 2”Ø CU water main, six corporation stops, six curb stops, fire hydrant, wedge valves, two-six inch diameter tapping sleeves and wedge valves, water line abandonment, insulation, and all earthwork and incidentals as required for a complete project. The drainage work includes traffic control, test pits, indeterminate ledge, 440 LF 12” Ø SICPE drainage pipe, three catch basins, two Type-F catch basins, grates and covers for all structures and rigid insulation.
