1. The Work includes the removal and disposal of approximately 2140 SF of asbestos containing floor tile and mastic to be removed from to a clean substrate. The Contractor shall remove all floor tile, adhesives, mastics, and fillers to a clean substrate. The Contractor shall final wash the floor to remove any mastic remover residue, which would inhibit the installation of new floor finish, per the mastic remover manufacturer's directions. Dispose of all materials as ACWM. The Work shall be performed under full enclosure or secondary engineering controls, unless otherwise specified by Owner’s Representative. 2. The Work includes the removal and disposal of approximately 760 SF of asbestos containing mastic beneath non-asbestos containing floor tile to be removed from to a clean substrate. The Contractor shall remove all floor tile, adhesives, mastics, and fillers to a clean substrate.
