Description

8(a) Set-Aside. To ensure that the indicated IT infrastructure work is done to industry standard. BICSI certification is the requirement this certification provides that the vendor has the necessary experience to meet the requirements. Contractor shall complete the connection of newly installed Offices and installed office furniture to the network and provide CAT6 ceiling drops to support installation of Wi-Fi throughout the building. Contractor will take care to ensure that existing functionality and systems are not damaged during their period of performance. When existing functions or systems are damaged, the Contractor will notify the COR and provide time table for the repair or provide how this will be satisfied with the new installation. This will include tag, test, locate and terminate of new and existing CAT6 copper infrastructure, installing replacement CAT6 where needed. This will include installing patching CAT6 (whips) from the office furniture to the terminated CAT6 wall jacks, to include any necessary pulling wall or ceiling drops where needed.
