Description | Remove approximately 800 feet of existing chain-link security fencing and replace with new, taller chain-link security fencing at the City's Fort Raymond Substation. The sections to be replaced are in deteriorating condition and/or are broken, creating a safety and security risk. We are seeking proposals from companies to remove the existing 7-foot to 8-foot fencing and replace with new 10-foot to 12-foot fencing built to specifications for a 115-kV substation. The fencing must also be properly bonded and grounded to prevent electric shock. The City of Seward is asking that bids be based on an overall project cost to include materials, removal of the existing fencing and installation of the new security fencing. The City also requests that companies provide an estimated timeline for completing the project. |
