Description

As of January 19, 2-23, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. 21008595.00 The City of Owatonna ("City") is seeking a qualified entity or individual ("Company") to provide the goods and/or services described herein. The City anticipates selecting one Company to perform the services. Bids are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Request for Quote ("RFQ"). Question Submission Deadline:October 20, 2022, 12:00pm Question Response Deadline:October 24, 2022, 2:00pm Award Date:November 16, 2022 Owatonna City Council will receive bids from qualified contractors on a single Prime contract for the addition and upgrade to the existing City Hall Council Chambers located at, City of Owatonna 540 West Hills Circle Owatonna, Minnesota. A. Contractors will be selected using a low bid process. B. Bids for the Owatonna City Council Chambers, will be received in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by CRW Architecture + Design Group, 211 11th Ave NW, Rochester, MN 55901. C. Owatonna City Hall Council Chamber CRW Job Number: #2021- 081 A. The project consists of controlled demolition and renovation of the City Council Chamber and supporting addition with entrance vestibule, public restrooms and small meeting space. This includes new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. A. Bidders shall be submitting a Base Bid with identified alternates for the Work described in the Bidding Documents. A single prime contract will be awarded for work based on Bid Amount and Qualifications. A. Bid Security: Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a surety bid bond, cashier's check or certified check, drawn on a state or national bank domiciled within the State of Minnesota in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum base bid submitted, payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described. B. Payment & Performance Bonds: The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a "Performance Bond" and "Labor and Materials Payment Bond" each in the full amount of the contract by a surety (or sureties) approved by the Owner Completion Date: October 1, 2023 *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
