| Description | Qualified companies to pick up solid waste from residents in the Town of Chilhowie, plus a few customers just outside the corporate limits, and three eight cubic yard dumpsters at the Town Shop. The total number of residence / cans that will need to be picked up on a weekly basis is approximately 1,100. The selected company will begin service on January 1, 2022 for a contract of no less than three years. An annual inflation rate adjustment effective the following Januarys will be incorporated into the contract based on the transportation consumer price index. The selected company will bill the Town of Chilhowie for the services on a monthly basis. |
