Landscaping and Snow Removal Maintenance Services

Landscaping Maintenance The work under this section shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to maintain all the grass/lawn areas within at the Centroplex building complex located at 123 Main Street, White Plains, NY in a clean, attractive condition. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Maintaining grass areas to required height; testing of soil in grass areas; fertilizing grass areas; liming grass areas; treating grass areas with herbicides; treating grass areas for insects and diseases; reseeding areas of sparse growth; removal of grass clippings and thatch as needed; cleanup of leaves; protection of shrub beds, trees and planning areas within grass areas; watering grass and sod areas; aeration of lawn areas, etc. Snow/Ice Removal The contractor shall provide snow and ice management services for the New York Power Authority ("NYPA") at the Centroplex building located at 123 Main Street, White Plains, NY. The Centroplex is an office building in the Central Business District that operates 24 hours per day year-round. Standards of service are to be of the highest achievable by the manner and means customarily employed by "Class A" corporate grounds maintenance companies.
