Description | SCOPE OF WORK HACL has two units that were severely damaged. Unit #1 Quote - Turner Terrace, 218 Holly Street, Lumberton NC Water Damaged Unit Restoration This unit is a part of a two-story duplex. This unit had water overflow from upstairs flow through and down the floor and walls to the first floor. This unit has had abatement completed by a licensed professional. Restoration to be done in accordance to the scope of work provided by Southern Claims (Attachment A). “ADD ON” Quote - Turner Terrace, 218 Holly Street, Lumberton NC This quote must be separate from the “Insurance Restoration” quote. The current unit was built in 1973. HACL would like this unit's plumbing re-piped while the walls are open. Since this is not apart of the insurance claim, we are asking this cost to be separate from the damage restoration. Additional request would be to utilize PEX Pipe and the addition of a cleanout located above the stainless-steel washer box. Unit #2 Quote - Meadows Extension, 3650 Meadowview Drive, Apt 14, Lumberton, NC Fire Damaged Unit Abatement and Restoration This unit is a two-story unit on the end of a quadruplex that had a fire in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Work to be done in accordance to the scope of work provided by Southern Claims (Attachment B). HACL material specs, site plan and original floor plan will be found under “Attachment C” The Contractor is responsible for; Code Compliance Existing buildings undergoing alterations, or repairs must comply with all local, and state building codes. Installation • Installation of toilet accessories plump and level in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended installation tolerances and conditions. • Locate toilet accessories at heights and the American with Disabilities Act. Blocking 2 X 6 Blocking to be installed in wall where towel bars, grab bars, shower curtain rods, and toilet tissue holders are to be mounted. Material Handling and Disposal (included in price of tree removal) The selected contractor is responsible for all debris removal. All debris is to be removed and disposed offsite. The City of Lumberton does NOT pick up debris from HACL sites. Site Clean-Up The site should be restored, as close as reasonably practical, to conditions existing to work commencing. The selected Contractor shall remove all debris from sites and dispose of all debris. The selected Contractor shall clean up the site and remove and dispose of all debris at the end of each day's operation. Protection of Property The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to eliminate damage to adjacent buildings, electrical service, trees, shrubs, lawns, curbs, walks, or other real, and/or HACL-2020-029 218 Holly – Water Damaged Restoration & 3650 Meadowview Apt 15 – Fire Damage Abatement/Restoration personal property. Holes or ruts made in lawn, regardless of size, shall be filled with sandy loam soil, seeded with turf grass lawn seed mix. Warranty All construction shall, unless otherwise specified herein, carry a one-year warranty from the date of acceptance and date of final invoice excluding neglected maintenance, misuse,vandalism, or damage from acts of God. Where applicable, warranty shall apply.Warranties will be voided in cases of physical and or chemical damage. All material is warranted to be as specified. All work is to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices. |
