Shaw Park Aquatic Center Pool Painting Project

For the Shaw Park Aquatic Center Pool Painting Project. The Scope of work includes painting and restriping the Shaw Park Aquatic Center 50-meter competition pool, Dive Tank and Children's Pool located at 111 S. Brentwood. Each bidder shall submit a lump sum price for all work required to complete the project as well as submit a bid for the two alternates which include interior painting of the lobbby and interior painting of the lcoker rooms. The City intends to issue a Notice to Proceed on or before March 1, 2023. All work must be completed on or before Friday, May 5, 2023. Questions regarding this project should be directed to Justin Whipple, Superintendent of Parks, City of Clayton. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to jwhipple@claytonmo.gov . No questions will be accepted after 5:00 PM on February 1, 2023. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
