Arbor Acres East and West

Frank L. Blum Construction Company is bidding the final permit drawings for the Arbor Acres new Independent Living Apartment buildings. The buildings consist of multi-story concrete & structural steel construction and contain 56 apartment units on top of a concrete and steel metal deck parking deck. Both buildings have common terraces with a shared courtyard with a single level connector connecting the two buildings. The project is expected to start in Q2 2021. The scope of work includes shallow foundations, cast in place, slab on grade and elevated slab on deck concrete with precast balconies, masonry elevator and stair shafts, structural steel framing, metal framing & trusses, wood framing exterior walls, metal framing/drywall, carpet, hardwood floors, hard tile, running trim, residential cabinets/countertops, fiber cement siding, EIFS/Stucco siding, metal panel siding, Shingle, TPO, Metal roofing and aluminum gutters/downspouts. The MEP scope of work consists of a fire sprinkler system to meet the NFPA 13 standard, new apartment unit bathrooms and kitchens, new electrical service and backup generator with new services for every apartment, and new HVAC services
