Routine and Emergency Traffic Signal and Street Light Maintenance

The City of Palatka is soliciting proposals for routine and emergency maintenance of traffic signals and street lights throughout the City (Appendix C of this RFP). Traffic signals include both City and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) owned signals. FDOT signals shall be maintained in accordance with the Traffic Signal Maintenance and Compensation Agreement (TSMCA) between the City and FDOT (Appendix A of this RFP). FDOT street lights shall be maintained in accordance with the Highway Lighting Maintenance Agreement (TSMCA) between the City and FDOT (Appendix B of this RFP). Street light maintenance includes, removal, relocation and replacement of existing lights and installation of new lights on existing poles. New street lights shall be LED. On-site response for routine maintenance is expected within 24 hours of initial notification by the City. Emergencies, when so declared by the City, shall include Force Majeure events including, but not limited to, hurricanes. Onsite response for emergency maintenance is expected without delay, within 24 to 72 hours depending upon event severity. The Contractor shall supply all tools, equipment, manpower, parts, materials, etc. necessary to complete the required Preventative Maintenance (PM) or repairs. Qualification of Contractors.

Division 34 -	Transportation, Transportation Signaling and Control Equipment, Roadway Signaling and Control Equipment, Traffic Signals, Traffic Control Equipment.
