Description

Reference Number: 0000315831 The recycling center has an aging baler that is used to package over 35% of our inbound material. This baler is over 20 years old, and the operating system is out of date and no longer supported by original equipment manufacturer (OEM). There are available upgrades that will allow for OEM to support the baler and provide more operating stability going forward. This upgrade will involve the following: Off hours installation Removing the old operating system software and hardware Installing new upgraded system software and hardware Test and train system operations with team The County operator, Eco Cycle will have a team on site for training and system acceptance. A response from the county to all inquiries will be posted and sent via email no later than May 4, 2023.
