Description

The City of Clear Lake intends to retain the services of a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for a new two-story 13,000 square foot Surf Ballroom Music Enrichment & Immersive Center as a recipient of the "Destination Iowa" program. As such, they are initially requesting Qualification Statements from qualified firms to determine which firms will be offered the opportunity to submit their proposed fees for the project. Design work is currently at the end of the Schematic Design phase. Construction is intended to begin April 2024, and be completed in early Summer 2025. Construction budget is currently set at $4,500,000 - $5,500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Questions surrounding the RFQ and MEIC shall be directed to the design team representative listed below. Any and all questions shall be submitted by Monday, September 28, 2023, 2:00 p.m. local time.
