| Description | 1. This project consists of milling and overlay of roadways, curb and gutter point repairs, and placement of millings at an existing parking lot. 2. Contractor to accommodate and provide pedestrian access to properties throughout the duration of the work and special accommodations when needed. 3. Overlay work asphalt mix design shall have FORTA fiber added at a rate of a bag per ton of asphalt. 4. Milling shall consist of profile milling to crown where feasible. Maximum mill depth at curb of 1.75-inches and minimum mill depth at crown of 0.00-inches. Adjustments are anticipated in the field to accommodate quarter crown when necessary to maintain specified asphalt thickness. See geotechnical cross-sections for more information. 5. Milling shall include 50-ft transition milling at tie-in locations. |
