Water Chiller - Solid State Starter Replacement

The Contractor shall be responsible for all required materials, equipment and personnel to manage, administer, and supervise the project. Contractor shall provide and install a replacement solid state starter for a York YS chiller (M# YSCACAS1CGE S# SNMM172820) to include any associated components as necessary for a complete and fully functioning chilled water system. All work shall be in accordance with all applicable codes, standards and manufacturer specifications. Contractor shall supply the materials and service described in this Statement of Work. The Government will not provide any equipment, materials or labor under this contract. Building 1417 is a chilled water plant that provides chilled water to several dormitory facilities. The building is located at 1555 GOTT ST. JBSA Lackland TX. The York YS Chiller has not been in operation for two years. The chiller’s Solid State Starter has failed due to overheating and short circuiting inside Solid State Starter cabinet.
