Description

The Moses and Columbia Block buildings are located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Front Street and Summer Street in Bath, Maine and are currently owned by BHDC. The ground-level units along Front Street are currently in retail/commercial use. The upper floors of the Site buildings are currently in use as residential apartments, a community meeting space, and a gymnasium. The hazardous building materials abatement bid generally consists of: Removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing building materials in several areas of the Site buildings; and Stabilization and encapsulation of select areas of lead-based paint.
