Pump Station & Drain Line Replace

The project will consist of the repair of two runs of drain piping. One a gravity drain exiting the building and continuing to manhole #47 approximately 48’ in length and six feet below grade. Additionally the replacement of pump discharge piping commencing at the pumping station located within manhole #47 rising approximately fifteen feet vertically where it tees together before exiting the enclosure. The tee is to be eliminated and be replaced by two independent runs of ATSM A74 cast iron pipe approximately 55’ south to manhole highlighted on appendix #1. Diameter is to match existing vertical pipe (estimated 2.5” or 3”). Approximately 15 sq. ft. of pavement will require saw cut, removal and replacement. One 8’ section of granite curbing may require removal and replacement. All new piping will be contained in a single trench. All work must comply with USDA and Cornell University Construction Standards contained in appendices #1-#3.
