| Description | The side slope along this section of SR 109 is experiencing slope failure. This project will stabilize the slope and reduce the risk of future roadway closures. As of September 13, 2022, this project is in a Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2019 and environmental design is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in fourth quarter of 2022 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP).
