HMAC Paving Project - 2022

Clatsop County Public Works intends to contract for approx. 1.9 miles of asphalt overlay Youngs River Road. An additional 600 feet of paving in approximately ten cut-outs for asphalt and culvert replacement on Youngs River Road between mileposts 7.7 and 10.3. Approx. 260 feet of asphalt paving on Dolphin Road and Rodney Acres Bridge. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to the full contract price, conditioned on the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and conditions of the contract. Performance bond must be executed solely by a surety company or companies holding a certificate of authority to transact surety business in the State of Oregon and payable to Clatsop County Liquidated damages shall apply against the successful bidder (the Contractor) and accrue to the Owner at the rate of five hundred dollars ($500) per day for every day that the project remains uncompleted beyond the period outlined above The County reserves the right to waive minor informalities and reject any or all bids not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause, including Bidder responsibility under ORS 279C.375(c)(b), any or all bids if it is deemed to be in the public interest to do so
