Description

The Lake Worth Multi-Purpose Building is comprised of three areas: L.O. Bud Irby Senior Center, Multi-Purpose area, and the Mary Lou Reddick Library. In general, the work of this Contract comprises general construction of the following: Senior Center Approximately 3,190 SF of interior cosmetic upgrades to the floor, base, wall and ceiling. Upgrade interior lighting to be LED. New plumbing fixtures at existing locations. No demolition of walls. Existing millwork is to be replaced or refinished in the same location. Multi-Purpose Area Approximately 3,907 SF of interior cosmetic upgrades to the floor, base, wall, and ceiling. Upgrade interior lighting to be LED. No demolition of walls. The existing millwork is to be replaced in the same location. New plumbing fixtures in existing locations. Library Approximately 5,565 SF of interior cosmetic upgrades to the floor, base, wall and ceiling. Upgrade interior lighting to be LED and add new fixture locations. No demolition of existing walls. Adding two rooms and a partial height wall. New millwork. New plumbing fixtures in existing locations. To determine the best value to the Owner, the following selection criteria point value will be used to evaluate and rank bid proposals: 60 Proposal cost 5 Construction Time / Schedule 20 Similar successful projects with positive references / working relationship with Client or Architect. 15 Personnel assigned to the project / qualifications, history of Project Manager and Superintendents assigned to this project, on similar projects.
