RFP Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) Services - Chapter 3 Libraries

THE MULTNOMAH COUNTY LIBRARY CAPITAL BOND PROJECTS (the Projects), shall consist of the third phase of the overall portfolio of bond projects. The projects awarded under this RFP consist of: Belmont: Renovation of 3,000 sf existing library and a roughly 17,000 sf addition on the existing site. Renovation is anticipated to be completed to life safety standards under the governing code at the time of construction. St. Johns: Renovation of 5,600 sf existing library and a roughly 1,500 sf addition on the existing site. Renovation is anticipated to be completed to life safety standards under the governing code at the time of construction. Pettygrove: Renovation of a newly acquired 18,000 sf one story warehouse type structure into a 10,000 sf library, and 8,000 warm dry shell. Construction may include seismic upgrades. For purposes of this RFP only, the Proposer should assume that the County's current estimate for the capital construction (hard costs) of the Project is $20 million (Belmont and St. Johns), and $5 million (NW Pettygrove).
