2022 Lavaca Street Improvement

This project includes the construction of approximately 700 linear-feet of street improvements including deep patching and asphalt surface. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined at the following location: Hawkins-Weir Engineers, Inc. 110 South 7th Street, Van Buren, Arkansas 72957-0648 479-474-1227 Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from Hawkins-Weir Engineers. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes. The City of Lavaca, Arkansas reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date. The City of Lavaca encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor.
