Description

Remove and replace existing wood decking with a composite decking material (e.g., Trex or TimberTech) for a 30.5 feet x 8 feet floating dock. 1. Remove and reuse all rubber bumper material. 2. Remove and reuse any existing boat cleats. 3. dispose of all existing decking material. 4. Fasten treated pine boards to steel frame the length of dock to act as a fastening platform (see Figure 2). 5. Attach composite decking to the treated lumber using fasteners approved by manufacturer (decking should be fastened to lay perpendicular to the edge of the dock). 6. Decking Color should be a Gray hue or as close as possible.
