Renovation of an educational facility in Amherst, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. Special Needs Renovation Estimate is $150,000 Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond (per section 153.571 (ORC) in the amount of (100%) of the highest aggregate amount of the base bid plus all add alternates submitted by the bidder, or a certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of that bid. Amherst Exempted Village Schools reserves the right to waive informalities, to accept or reject any and all or parts of any and all bids, in whole or part or any combination thereof or award the contract to other than the lowest bidder. The Special Needs renovation consists of adding a new restroom and kitchenette area as well as updating interior finishes. The restroom and kitchenette are located adjacent to and existing restroom chase wall for utility tie-ins. This work may begin when the District's summer break begins (May 30th).
