HVAC Preventative Maintenance Services, NWS Romeoville, IL

The work to be provided consists of two visits to perform semi-annual (fall and spring) preventive maintenance (PM) service for the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC) system, and associated equipment listed in this Statement of Work (SOW). All items listed on the “HVAC Inspection Report” will be accomplished semi-annually, with exception of the annual belt replacement provision. All work shall be performed during normal business hours (8 AM – 4 PM) and the contractor shall schedule with the local National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office (NWS WFO) staff in advance to perform services. Contractor shall provide a minimum (5) business days advance notice before PM work is performed at the Weather Forecast Office (WFO), Radar Data Acquisition (RDA) facilities, including Transitional Power Maintenance Shelter (TPMS) building. This contract does not permit personnel, labor, materials, or refrigerant for repairs outside the Statement of Work (SOW). No action to correct any discrepancies/repairs out of the SOW shall be taken unless approved in advance and directed to proceed by the Contracting Officer.
