Cross-County Sanitary/Kessman Landfill Site

The remedial activities include, but are not necessarily limited to: 1) mobilization/demobilization; 2) installation, setup, and operation of an on-Site water treatment system; 3) control and removal of standing water; 4) excavation/dredging of PCB contaminated sediment; 5) sediment dewatering and stabilization; 6) water handling, treatment, and discharge; 7) transport and disposal of solidified sediment; 8) wetland restoration and planting; and 9) overall site restoration. The estimated range for this work is: $2.5 Million to $5 Million. The project involves the implementation of remedial activities at the Cross-County Sanitary/Kessman Landfill site, located at 286 Cornwall Hill Road, Patterson, New York. These activities include, but are not necessarily limited to: control and removal of standing water; excavation/dredging of PCB contaminated sediment; sediment dewatering; water handling, treatment, and discharge; transport and disposal of solidified sediment; wetland restoration and planting; and overall site restoration.
