Description | Purchase of Polymer for a Potable Water Treatment Plant of 18 Mgd Capacity Each Sealed Envelope Containing a Bid Must Be Plainly Marked on the Outside. Bid Prices Will Be F.o.b. To the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Treatment Plant, 5590 Hwy 178 West, Ful- Ton, Ms 38843. The North- East Mississippi Regional Water Supply District Reserves the Right to Accept Alternate Bids in the Event the Primary Supplier is Unable to Provide Product as Specified. Polymer Must Be Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approved. All Vendors Shall Provide Certificate of Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approvals. This Shall Be Submitted With Your Bid. The Bid Shall Be on a Bulk Basis and Material Shall Meet the Following Specifications: 1. Liquid Polymer - Totes Polymer Shall Be Liquid, 20% Active. Material Shall Be Capable of Sludge Blanket Control Over All Expected Temperature Ranges. Material Shall Meet All Awwa Standards for Potable Water. The Polymer Must Blend With the District's House Water to Form a 0.5 to 3% Solution of Polymer or the Polymer Will Be Deemed Unacceptable. Bidders Shall Have Completed a Successful Pilot Plant Study Using at Least 500 Lbs. Of Their Product for Testing in the District's Process Be- Fore Bid Acceptance. Delivery Delivery of the Polymer Shall Be Within 10 Calendar Days of Notification of the Order. Packaging and Shipping the Polymer Shall Conform to All Applicable Federal, State, and Local Regulations. Net Weight Error Shall Conform to the National Bureau of Standards- Shipment Shall Contain No Less Than 98 Percent of the Stated Weight. Polymer to Be Bid Delivered to the Plant Site in Pepper- Town, Mississippi. Delivery Times Recongnized at the Plant Will Be Monday - Friday, 8 Am to 4 Pm. Size of Orders Will Be Based on Available Storage at the Plant. All Prices Shall Be for Bulk Quantities and Said Prices Shall Remain Constant for a Period of Three Calendar Months, October 1st, 2022 Thru December 31st, 2022, Following the Acceptance of the Bids. The District Shall Not Recognize Any Modifications to the Price of the Chemicals During Quarter, Including but Not Limited to Fuel Surcharges and Other Charges. Invoices Received After the Third Wednesday of the Month, Will Be Paid the Following Month. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids.
