Rebuilding of Bunkers at DW Field Golf Course

DCAMM Certification Required. Refurbish and rebuild up to seven (7) existing sand bunkers at the D. W. Field Golf Course, 331 Oak Street, Brockton, MA due to failing and deteriorating condition and age (80+ years). The Parks Department seeks a qualified contractor with at least twenty years (20) of experience performing similar work on golf courses specifically the restoration and rebuilding of existing bunkers. All interested parties must supply at least three references for similar work. It is the the successful bidders responsibility to supply all materials from designated vendors, including but not limited to HD sand, drainage stone (3/4" washed stone) and four inch (4") drainage pipe, sod and loam for rebuilding of the bunker faces, and edges and preparation for sod as well as placement of sod. The successful contractor will be responsible for stripping of all sod indicated in the scope, removal of existing sand, reshaping and refacing of indicated bunkers, edging of bunkers, placing of new sand and sodding area of disturbance. Approximate area of the seven (7) bunkers to be rebuilt as well as the approximate area to be sodded is listed on the quote sheet.
