US Route 4 Intersection and Pedestrian Improvements

Projects limits extend from: The intersection of US Route 4 and NY Route 43 to the Intersection of US Route 4 and Williams Road (NYS Route 136). The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Realignment of the US Route 4/Bloomingrove Drive intersection that includes full depth paving and replacement of the existing traffic signal. Realignment of Winter Street Extension at US Route 4 and the installation of a traffic signal. Sidewalk installation from existing pedestrian accommodations at Jordan Road to existing pedestrian accommodations north of Stewarts at Williams Road. A two-lane roundabout at the intersection of US Route 4 and Williams Road. Other project features include asphalt pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction, installation of concrete curb and sidewalks, closed drainage, roadway lighting, signage, striping, and landscaping.
