The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-23-R-00331, BIL Funded: Replace the HVAC at the Atlanta Terminal Doppler Weather Radar Building (ATL TDWR), 3093 Line Crest Rd., Ellenwood, GA as detailed in the Specifications and Drawings attached to the Solicitation in accordance with the Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.2 Policy, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), and is supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NOTICE OF EXEMPTION: The FAA has been exempted from several Federal laws and regulations as part of the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act. Some of the exemptions include the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Small Business Act, the Competition in Contracting Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS), which became effective on April 1, 1996, is utilized in place of the FAR. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. SITE VISIT The FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A one-time site visit will be conducted on 1 JUNE 2023 at 10:30 AM ET at 3093 Line Crest Rd., Ellenwood, GA. Please provide linda.hennequant@faa.gov with a list of attendees by May 31, 2023, at 3:00 PM ET. Information provided at this site visit, as well as answers to questions must not change or qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation or specifications. Terms remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. ATTENDANCE AT THIS SITE VISIT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
