Charlestown Ave (From Main St to Division St ) This project includes milling, resurfacing, patching and base repair of asphalt and concrete streets, replacement of non-ADA compliant curb ramps and sidewalk, replacement of curb, replacement of traffic signal detection loops, drainage work, pavement markings, and all other necessary items to result in a complete project. The bids shall be Unit Price for all work shown in the contract documents and specifications with unit prices for extras as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders in the specifications and submitted in duplicate on the State Board of Accounts Form No. 96. An executed State Board of Accounts Form 96a or similar document shall be required. As a requirement of the Community Crossings Grant funding utilized for this project, the prime contractor to whom the work is awarded must be prequalified with INDOT. Subcontractors can enter into subcontracts up to $300,000 without being prequalified with INDOT; however, the subcontractor is limited to a total of $300,000 in unearned work under contract on any given date with any owner, contractor, or other party. The Contract Documents are on file for public inspection at the Jeffersonville Street Department at 2003 Renfroe Way, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130 The Board of Public Works of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. All sealed bids shall be turned in to the office of the City Clerk, Suite 156, First Floor, Jeffersonville City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Bids shall be turned in no sooner than 12:00 p.m. and no later than 2:00 p.m. on the 1st day of June, 2022. The Board of Public Works of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.
