Description | Replace and / or restoretraffic signs and posts due to damage and/or loss caused by natural disasters or catastrophicfailures. Bid prices include all labor, commodities, equipment, materials and incidentals required to complete each task. The prime contractor must be pre-qualified with the Florida Department of Transportation in Roadway Signage. All labor, commodities, equipment, materials and incidentals must conform to the current editions of the following specifications: 1. Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Design Standards for Design, Construction, Maintenance and Utility Operations on the State Highway System. 2. U.S. Department of Transportation / Federal Highway Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). 3. Florida Department of Transportation Manual on Uniform Minimum Standards for Design, Construction, and Maintenance for Streets and Highways (commonly referred to as the “Florida Green Book”). 4. Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. 5. Minimum standards applicable to Public Right-of-Way under Broward County jurisdiction. |
