Douglas/Burbank Road Extension in Oldsmar (Phase I)

Douglas/Burbank Road Extension in Oldsmar (Phase I) project is intended to provide access from Tampa Road, northerly to Douglas Road. The existing Burbank Road is divided by a CSXT railroad with the existing southerly roadway typical of two twelve-foot travel lanes, curbing and five-foot sidewalks on both sides. The existing northerly section is unimproved. The project will consist of constructing a roadway and at-grade railroad crossing in order to extend Burbank Road and connect to Douglas Road. The project will involve constructing a 2 – 12-foot lane roadway with storm sewer, curb and gutter, a 10-foot-wide pedestrian trail and a 5 -foot sidewalk, and all necessary effort to accommodate this work. CSXT will construct the 56-foot concrete at-grade railroad crossing surface. The contractor will construct the roadway approaches and stormwater culvert on the south side of the railroad crossing. The contractor will coordinate all work within the 100’ railroad right of way with CSXT
