Description | Renovations to McKinney’s Park basketball court and install new fencing. McKinnie Park address is 801 Bloxam Avenue, Clermont, Florida. BasketBall Court Renovation: 1. Remove and dispose of the existing asphalt basketball court surfacing. 2. Grade substrate and ensure a base that is properly compacted following the 1% slope. 3. Install concrete six inch around outside perimeter tapered to four inch inside on each court. First court is approximately 60-feet by 100-feet and the second court is approximately 40-feet by 90-feet. All expansion joints must be sealed with silicone sealer. Slab must be 3000-PSI concrete with fiber. Medium broom finish sloped one-inch for every 10-feet. It the respondent responsibility to visit the park and calculate measurements before submitting a bid. 4. Flood entire surface checking for minor depressions or irregularities. Any puddled areas that hold water deep enough to cover a nickel or 1/8-inch must be repaired. 5. Courts must cure at least 30-days or approved by staff as completely dried before applying any coatings and court must be clean and completely dry. 6. Apply two coats of Acrylic Surfacer to entire court. 7. Apply two coats of Color / Topcoat. 8. Court must dry for a minimum of 5-hours prior to application of playing lines. 9. Apply 2-inch wide regulation court lines. Fencing: 1. Furnish and install approximately 300-linear feet of 6-foot high, 6-gauge black vinyl coated chain link fence at West end of the ballfield, with one 4-foot wide, 6-gauge black vinyl coated gate. 2. All 6-feet of shorter fencing shall have a top and bottom rail. 3. All lengths of fencing are approximate and it is the responsibility of the respondent to conduct a site visit to get accurate measurements. 4. All hardware must be commercial grade. 5. All post and rails must be schedule 40 Black. |
