Description | As of December 2022, the Apparent Low Contractor - Rutledge Excavating is seeking W/MBE and SDVOB Businesses to quote material supply and or subcontracting. Responses needed by December 20th, 2022, via info@rutledgeexcavating.com \\\The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: The proposed work involves replacing the current culvert through the dam in its original location with a pre-cast concrete box culvert. Minimum Wage Rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor. This contract is funded, wholly or in part, by New York State. This proposal is submitted in accordance with the NYSDOT Standard Specifications officially finalized and adopted on September 1, 2022, as posted on the NYSDOT website with current additions and modifications, and the State Highway Law. The Minority-owned Business Enterprise Utilization Goal is 8%. The Women-owned Business Enterprise Utilization Goal is 15%. The Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business Utilization Goal is 6%. There are no DBE Goals for this project. The Equal Employment Opportunity goals for Minority Participation is 17.0% and the Women Participation goal is 6.9%. The use of the NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software, Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO), is required. No residential or geographical restrictions will be in effect for this project. Contractors that obtain Contract Documents from a source other than the issuing website, must register with the designated website as a plan holder in order to be placed on the official Plan Holder List, to receive Addenda and any other Bid correspondence. Bids received from Contractors other than those on the official Plan Holders List will not be accepted. Addenda will be posted on the designated website (above) and all registered plan holders will receive notification that an addenda is available. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of all Addenda in the bid forms. Failure of any Bidder to receive any such Addendum or interpretation shall not relive such Bidder from any obligation under this Bid submittal. All Addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Deposit of Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to Town of Tusten, in the amount specified by this advertisement. The retention and disposal of such Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, by the Town, shall conform to Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. The successful Contractor will be required to execute the Contract and comply, in all respects, with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. The Town of Tusten reserves the right to consider the bids for forty-five (45) days after receipt before awarding any Contract, and to waive any minor informalities in, and to reject, any and all bids. All bids are subject to final review and approval by the Town Board before any award of contract may be made. Receipt of bids by the Town of Tusten shall not be construed as authority to bind the Town of Tusten. The work will be substantially completed by 12/31/23 and completed and ready for final payment on 6/30/24. Substantially competed is defined as the structure being open to traffic. Bidders shall promptly notify James Cummings of any errors, omissions, conflicts, or ambiguity within the Contract Documents no later than 7 days before the bid opening. The New York State Department of Transportation, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation and Title 23 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Title VI Program and Related Statutes, as amended, issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all who respond to the related solicitation, request for proposal or invitation to bid that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability/handicap and income status in consideration for an award. |
