Description

As of January 4, 2023, this project is in the conceptual phase. A developer has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The original solicitation is listed below for reference. The City of Ansonia is seeking a qualified non-profit development corporation to assist in the remediation and redevelopment of several properties collectively known as the former Ansonia Copper and Brass Company. Details concerning this RFQ can be requested through email with Anna Andretta, Grants Manager in the Economic Development Office at aandretta@ansoniact.org. All questions regarding this proposal should be directed in writing to Sheila O'Malley, Director at somalley@ansoniact.org.No questions will be answered 5 days before the opening of the RFP. Minority and women owned individuals or firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Submittal Information: The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject all submissions, reissue a subsequent RFQ and/or RFQ, terminate, restructure or amend this procurement process at any time. Evaluation criteria contained herein shall be used in evaluating qualifications. The City may contact any consultant after receiving its submittal to seek clarification of any portion thereof. The City reserved the right to request additional information from any consultant if the City deems such information necessary to further evaluate the consultant's qualifications. In the event the City elects to negotiate a contract with a selected consultant, the City reserves the right to negotiate such terms and conditions of the contract, including, but not limited to scope, role, and price and staffing which may be in the best interests of the City.
