Description

The Work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, machinery, permits, certificates, licenses, bonds, insurance, supplies, and services for the construction of a new water treatment plant, site development, and related treatment equipment at Dos Palos water treatment plant site located in City of Dos Palos, California. The lowest bid shall be determined based on the amount of the base bid. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct any of the additive or deductive items after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined. City of Dos Palos advises potential bidders that the project is funded in whole or in part with funding from multiple sources including the State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Project Number. For public works contracts awarded on and after January 1, 2015, those public works projects shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids must be accompanied by an executed Fingerprinting Notice and Acknowledgment. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, said bonds to be secured from Admitted Surety insurers (an insurance organization authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California during this calendar year).
